FAQ
- Is the comparison line-by-line or character-by-character?
- Line-by-line, which is what makes a diff of paragraphs or code readable. The unified view also shows the full line content for each addition and removal.
- Is my text ever rendered as HTML?
- No — input and output are always shown as plain text, even if it contains HTML or script tags. Nothing you paste here executes.
- Is there a size limit?
- Extremely large inputs (tens of thousands of lines) are rejected with a clear message rather than freezing the page.
