JSON Diff
Compare two JSON documents by structure rather than as text, so reordered keys and different formatting never register as changes. Every difference is reported at the exact path it occurs, grouped into added, removed, and changed, with unchanged values available on request.

FAQ
- How is this different from a text diff?
- A text diff compares lines, so reformatting a file or reordering keys shows up as a change. This compares the parsed structures, so only real differences in data are reported — at the path where they occur, not the line.
- Does key order matter?
- No. JSON objects are unordered by definition, so two objects with the same keys in different orders are treated as identical.
- How are arrays compared?
- By position. Index 0 is compared to index 0, and so on — so inserting an item at the start of an array reports every subsequent position as changed, which is what actually happened positionally.
- Is my JSON uploaded anywhere?
- No. Both documents are parsed and compared entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
