Features
- Unbiased integer generation using the Web Crypto API — never Math.random()
- Optional decimals with configurable decimal places
- Generate unique (no-duplicate) values, or allow repeats
- Sort results ascending, descending, or leave in generation order
- Copy any single value, copy all, or download as a text file
How to use
- Set a minimum and maximum.
- Choose how many numbers to generate, and any options (decimals, no duplicates, sort).
- Click Generate.
- Copy an individual value, or copy/download the whole batch.
Example
Rolling a six-sided die 5 times: minimum 1, maximum 6, quantity 5 → e.g. 3, 6, 1, 4, 6
FAQ
- Is this actually random, or just Math.random()?
- It uses the browser's Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), not Math.random(). Integers are drawn with rejection sampling so every value in the range is equally likely — there's no bias toward the low end that a naive implementation would introduce.
- Can I generate numbers without repeats?
- Yes — turn on "No duplicates" for a set of unique integers, similar to drawing raffle numbers without replacement. It's only available for integers, since decimal values are already unique for all practical purposes.
- What's the maximum I can generate at once?
- Up to 1000 numbers in a single batch.
